our process

Our goal is to make the build process as seamless as possible for you so here’s what you can expect.

*Note: Each build we create is 100% custom which means that no matter which tier you choose you have full control over the design and layout of your van. The price you see on our website is a starting price for materials and labor – it does not include the price of the van you choose.

You can fill out the van build questionnaire here. Once your build details have been received we will review the form and be in touch to set up a free 30 minute consultation.

During our initial consultation we do a deep dive into your build to ensure we fully understand your needs, goals, and budget. Following this initial consultation we will provide a build estimate in 5-7 days.

Once you’ve reviewed your build estimate, asked any follow up questions you may have, and feel comfortable with everything we’ve spoken about so far you will sign a service agreement and pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your build slot. Note: your deposit will be applied to the total cost of your build

This is where the real fun begins! During this stage of the process you will need to secure your van, finalize build plans (i.e. choosing materials, colors, finishes, etc), and schedule your drop off – we will give you a full checklist of everything to have completed before the start of your build!

It’s time to drop off your van so we can get a start on your build! The day you drop off we will review your build plan one last time and discuss any changes you might want to make or address any final questions you might have. Then it’s up to us to bring your vision to life! Don’t worry though, throughout the build we will provide updates and progress reports to keep you in the loop! 🙂

Once your van is complete, we will schedule a pick up or delivery date. On this day, we will give you a full orientation of your new van, answer any and all questions, and send you off with as many resources as possible – as well as our continued support as you start this new era of vanlife!

explore: the weekend warrior. this van is for you if you’re looking for something to take weekend trips in and the occasional 1-2 week trip but don’t necessarily need all the bells and whistles of a full time van

Build Timeline: 8-12 weeks

Investment: Starting at $50,000 (not including the price of the van)

roam.

roam: the full time nomad. this van is for you if you’re looking for something you could take extended trips in or even live out of full time. you’ll have more power, more water, more storage, and more customizations to suit your needs

Build Timeline: 12-16 weeks

Investment: Starting at $80,000 (not including the price of the van)

adventure.

adventure: the overlander. this van is for you if you want all the amenities and upgrades – suitable for full time living, extended periods off grid, and overlanding. you’ll have the most power, water, storage, customizations and off road capabilities in this van

Build Timeline: 12-16 weeks+

Investment: Starting at $120,000 (not including the price of the van)
